This was on "Hurry Sundown" the first Kamikaze Cowboy cd - I wrote it while house painting in U City, it was about one in the afternoon and a jet flew over head and as it crossed the sun the back yard got shaded for a brief moment, for whatever reason that blew my mind, I thought about who might be on that plane and how the last thing in the world they would be thinking about was this emotionaly fucked up house painter in the middle of a hopeless relationship, hating the work I was doing and wondering where that jet was bound. Felt like I needed to express it. I love the guitar and Mike Martin's bass solo and background voice stuff.
